  1. My experience with G80 vs open is that I prefer open, at least it's predictable. The G80's are known to "lock" when you don't want it (ice/off camber snow/etc) and not "lock" when you do need it. The AAM helical gear design has been great and provides excellent lateral traction in winter. Another helical option is the Detroit Tru-Trac. http://www.ringpinion.com/b2c/ProductDetails.aspx?ProdID=6890&Product=TT_915A568&Brand=Eaton_Posi&ShowAA=True&Year=2006&Model=Ram%203500%201%20Ton&DriveType=Rear%20Diff%20-%204WD&DiffId=259&Source=DiffWizard
  2. I know the last extra set of injectors I turned into usable ones cost me more than if I would have sent them in as cores and just bought a set of already setup injectors. Good tips $200 and then having them set at 310 bar was $56 each so total cost was $560. Good set of 100hp injectors $400. If you want to sell them let me know.

JR, haven't forgot about you. I've been traveling like a mad man and I'm in Oklahoma this weekend. I'll get back to you next weekend. I'll do a comparison to the new rim I got too, 4.5" backspacing, no offset.
  4. MOOG K7394 and K7397. Both made in USA Both greasable Both look good, Nice precision looking outside. Both still in the box Hopefully by tonight I'll have found some time to press them in.,. Probably spend most of my free time on the truck today with the axle seal.
  5. Ford never ran the AAM, not once. Ford uses the sterling on the SRWs and Dana 80 on the DRW's. I like the OEM a lot better than the Gov-Lok, and I have experience with both. The OEM will track and drive much better on snow/ice that the G80 will.
