  1. After cleaning all grounds and going through the whole harness I finally found my problem. I feel stupid but I bumped a connector on the harness when installing my starter tightening the top bolt from through the engine compartment, it was the connector that connects the harness to the harness going through the fire wall. It looked connected but it has a slide lock clip that pulls it together the connectors together tight making the contacts touch. I learned my lesson not to jump to worst a case scenario and buy an ecm but atleast I have a spare now. I also had the spare installed when

  2. Go wot from take off. Mikes tune is made for 7 x.010's you are running a good bit less fuel than that. I am guessing your offidle fueling is causing your issues. Too little fuel will cause bucking low in the rpm band.

  4. I am starting to come to terms with the usablity of an android tablet for most that use web functions only. They are cheap and the quality is generally better than the PC's in the price range. add to it some sort of case with intergrated keyboard and you are good to go. Android is widely accepted and can run nearly anything most need to do with it. similar idea to a chromebook. I am a die hard Thinkpad fan, but the $$ of them is 2x the cost of the similar hp...for good reason.

  5. Yup. Everyone is going to ask for the cost of the VP44 and then the 4 hours shop fee (120 and hour at most shops). If he was close to me I would do the install as a favor. If it was closer I would love to buy it...

  6. I've done about 3 or 4 starter change outs and always did everything from below. When your my age the feeling in my hands is better than my eyes. Anyhow, I'm very glad you got it fixed. Not giving up will often reward you. That is how you become successful in this world of uphill climbs.

  7. A dealer can flash to the proper transmission and you might can do it with a Smarty if know someone who has one. Some one smarter than I would have to confirm that though.

  8. @IBMobile is right about Amazon. I order all my filters and oil from them. Usually buy 2 or 3 packs but be sure to check because sometimes its cheaper to order multiple singles. When I installed my fittings i used a small drop of hydraulic brake assembly lube.

  9. Awesome...there are a lot of us on here who have firsthand install experience so don't hesitate to post if you get stuck or have a question. Richard is very helpful too. Best up front advice is to blow out each hose with compressed air after it has been cut to fit. Also if you are having problems getting the hose to fully seat on the quick connect barbs soak the end of the hose in hot water for a bit and it will be much easier to push on. Yep it sounds like your DDRP is on its last leg.

  10. I'm gonna get a lot of hate on this post but here was my solution, budget friendly, single parent 2 kids. I went with LED bulbs, and aftermarket housings. I achieved all this under $200 and have a good cut-off, I do have some dark spots but the overall brightness trumps my other halogen attempts. What I did was find a LED bulb that has the diodes at the same measurement or with-in millimeters of where the stock halogen filament was located. Tested light scatter with some buddies and have never received a flash from on coming traffic. I can also see at night again.

  12. I've been on Ubuntu Linux since 2006 or so. Linux Mint is a sub family of Ubuntu Linux. Ubuntu is the main root of the Debian family and then Linux Mint is a offshoot of the Ubuntu (lime green line at the bottom).
