best place to aquire winblows 10

Recommended Posts

So i build another new computer, gave my old I7 work horse to my son. this one has Linux already on it. however, i'm up for trying windows 10. i have an unlocked ultimate version of 7. i can fall back on, but i'm thinking i'll give 10 a try.

So anyone know the best place to locate one.? price wise?

eBay?  I price check for just about everything and there's always a seller who has what I'm looking for.  Money back guarantee...eBay customer service is top notch.  Tigerdirect/Newegg are my other go-to's. I'm still running 7 on my current gaming rig and XP on my old build (just won't quit).  :thumb1:

I'm also an old gamer too but I'm able to play quite a few games on Steam. Still on Ubuntu Linux 16.04 and plays very well. Like @Taz was playing Half-Life 2 last night very impressive graphics. The things I fire up windows for is windows stuff like Quadzilla Flash, Garmin Updater, Fire Radio Flash Software, etc. Other than that I live 99% of my computer live now on Linux which I found alternate solutions.

I personally hate windows 10, I have been trying to figure out what version of Linux to duel boot onto my home computer, but I am only home 1.5 days a week so haven't put much effort into it. As I have many projects going with the truck lol.:backtotopic:

i still play CS:S on linux.
