Bayes is a power guru and you should listen to him, but I'm gonna share my experience with a S362 and an APG housing.  I've got a secondhand S362/68 SXE from Smeding Diesel with a 14 cm (.80 A/R) nongated APG housing.  The turbo itself has been great.  The housing, while it has a badass turbine whistle, was slow to spool and the downpipe flange was machined just slightly under HX40 size, causing a leak.  I recently went to a 12cm gated housing (as of a month ago) in preparation for compounds.  Then life got in the way, so compounds are on hold.

Here's my thoughts:  at the time of me deciding to go to compounds, I had both a 62/65/12 and the 62/68/soon-to-be-12 at my disposal.  I sold the 62/65 on the thought that the 68 turbine wheel would give me just a bit more top end in a compound setup.  I'm running 7x0.0095 injectors.

Now,  I could be way off base here, but based on how hard the 62/68/12 pulls as a single, my thought would be to get the 68 turbine wheel for a bit more top end.

@jlbayes, how far off am I? lol

You!

If I were to stay with a single, I'd probably leave the current turbo I have.  Plenty of low end torque due to the .70 housing, and has plenty of top end power.

I'd be fine between 4-500 peak with the ability to tune it down for towing.

That's approximately where I am currently (not dyno proven).  It's plenty of power, but @TFaoro has corrupted me so i'm going for moar.

Meh idk about power no goal currently I just want to play I ordered the 62 68 14 from agp we will c how the ball falls I can always buy a 12cm housing so I want to compare both of them my self

One of the reasons I decided to go with the 14 housing is because I tend to find my self running with od off more and more because of my 35s and 355s and I didn't want a choke point

Silverdodge, the 68 turbine is going to limit power to 550whp in a single turbo application on a vp truck. It is just where they seem to fall. Regardless of housing size.

Notlimah, a 62/65/12 gated is what I'd suggest. Or a s300g but it would max out around 450whp due to the smallish compressor.

Trevor is a lost cause. LOL

Fully understood there I bought it knowing that but I'm hoping it does what i want if not in a few months I'll start buying parts to compound as I said when I compound I'm thinking about a 471 with it

I don't see the 471 being a good choice for the secondary you have. You will already be at the limit of the set with the 63/68 and spool up will be slower due to loss of heat through two turbines. I know you are just wanting to play, not discouraging that. I'd suggest using a gta4202 or a s475 with a smaller turbine.
