thoughts on stock ABS

Recommended Posts

So, now that I know the module is for the ABS on the truck...I'd really like to hear your thoughts on how well it works before I go through the exercise of finding a way to hook it back up or look for an alternate solution?  I remember it was not all that great on my '93 Pontiac compared to more modern versions.

My rwal system (what yours is) does not work worth a hoot. I can lock them up at about any point I feel like. It just slides.

so just go back to old school (and remove it all) and know how to drive then?  :ahhh:

I would chose that any day vs abs crap, I got it on my work trucks 2012 and 2016 f350 and plowing with abs and traction control that I can disable but it still trying to take over is very annoying. Never know what to expect where if it's all manual you get used to it and way you go.

Post some pics when you're done if you don't mind. I'm sure it's been done before too. I'm just curious. I wouldn't mid if mine went away.

follow my build thread and you can watch over the next few years as I get it all done...sorry won't be much faster than that...money is my driving factor.
