Welcome to my world. 11 miles to work and 7 stop signs. Hard to make good mileage like that. Tires and brakes wear out a lot sooner too. Stop and go is hard on any vehicle. I'm usually around 16-17 around here.

Started my new job here in Marietta ga this week. Staying at my niece's house 28 miles from the job. All surface streets. Took me an hour and 15 minutes to get there this am. Going to try the interstates in the morning. But they can be dreadful around here at rush hour. It is the primary reason I left here back 91. The people clock had just crossed 1 million in population when I left, now its more like 3.75 million. 

 

If I can get 16 mpg I will be doing good.

As for the flooding it pretty well over. Things are drying up for now. 

 

As for the MPG game. 20.64 MPG on the last tank. I was hoping for much more being I past 300 miles at the 5/8 mark on the fuel gauge.

Big mud slide on 55 today, but at least the rain is gone until Saturday. Friday’s temps will like I melt some snow thou.

The top half is bigger. Also, here is a picture of my worn out sender.

The sender is dead on the money at 17.5 gallons displayed on the Quad at 1/2 tank. I've been below 1/8 tank few times and Quad gallon display has right there within +/- 0.05 gallons typically.
