Whats $5.5k among friends, just do it.

Man thats a lotta cash to lay for freaking injectors even if the owner is paying for it.

Is that new or remans?

Reman's for 2003 Dodge Ram and 2004 Dodge Ram... New is even more. I need two sets or 12 injectors. Heck even poor @Jthor isn't happy with Ford 7.3L injector prices at $1,200 a set of eight.

As for my truck being down I've found a temporary steering box from Russ (my landlord at my other shop). He's willing to let me got snag it. I'm going to go grab it so I can drive my truck again. the 1996 Dodge is eating me out of house and home at 14 MPG. At least with the Cummins I get better MPG's. Soon as the sun comes up I'm gone and going to snag that steering box. I can't wait another 8 to 9 days for my steering box from Blue Top to return in the mail.

Sounds more like "by donkey".

I'm getting tired of people say because of COVID we are delayed shipping, repairing, supplying, increasing prices (insert what fits or multiple). I could of drove to North Dakota had it serviced and then drove home in less time. Then your sitting here and watching TV and America everyone is shut down. Now watch Japanese figure skating the stands are full and no social distancing.

I've been watching a bit more news lately since I'm home with my knee injury.

Seems to me the whole covid thing was/is a part of a bigger agenda. They certainly used it to promote mail in ballots for the presidential election and now that's a complete disaster. Evidence of fraud everywhere it seems.

Now they're using it as a scare tactic to control social gatherings and travel. Do they want us all to stay home and just look away while they do what they're doing? I don't know what's going on but I've never seen the likes of this in my lifetime.

I thought things (economy, unemployment and the like) were going well before covid hit. Now, they have essentially slammed on the brakes for the entire country. Now with mail being slow, holiday shopping plugging things up and everyplace being closed or at least a person can't just walk in and do business like we did before. It really bogs thing down terribly. Like they don't want us to work to much to pull out if this stuck in the mud situation.

My mother ordered some christmas things the other day and they all arrived within 3 days, mostly USPS with some UPS. Seems like there are considerably more localized issues.

Top that off, ever since CNN(1980) and FOX(1996) decided that news was a 24/7/365 affair, "MSM" has been lying through their teeth and it has only propagated further. Now we are in a position where FOX testified that "no reasonable viewer" would take Tucker Carlson seriously, citation, pg.12. I just want Walter Cronkite back. I don't trust what any of them say, at all, including President Trump, or the maybe President-elect Biden (okay, some of it is probably true, but it has been run through too many filters and agendas to get real information) Too much big money is flowing in for me to believe any of these politicians beyond the state level aren't as crooked as a dog's hind leg.

Not a single one of America's top 10 issues has been addressed at the federal level in 60 years if it wasn't backed by the donations of billionaires first. You have the wife of the president of the New York Stock Exchange running for congress in Georgia worth $800 Million, and she is supposed to be "of the people". The inmates run the asylum. We are an oligarchy, no longer are we the democratically elected republic of the people the founding fathers created. Covid is just the icing on the cake. All of that said, there is no place I'd rather live, and I've traveled a lot. We are the most free modern country I know of.

You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.

Never had much use Rahm. If my memory serves me correctly he is one of the many appointed by Obama that had to amend their past tax returns upon appointment. Never heard why they had to do that just that they did.

I have to agree with @That Guyon the money thing. The amounts we are talking about are obscene. They is no way anyone that gets elected is not beholding to god knows who. And it aint the voters that put them there. If any of them want a dime from me all they got to do is fore go all that outside money. I am sick of it.

As far as the election being a fraud, show me the evidence. Not just people telling me there is evidence. I helped put Trump in office and if things are not right they need to be dealt with. If there is evidence of wide spread fraud, produce it. Judges across the country have tossed lawsuits for lack of evidence. These judges are from both sides as far appointments go. I also cant imagine that a fraud as big is this would have to be could be kept secret.

Uhhh... I'll pass.

Just shows how other countries handle the COVID crisis. Far East no problem everyone continues on and has events and sports.

America, lets fine you for not wearing a mask, make sure to stay away from friends or family. Let's close down everything and make it tougher on people. While all this is happening let raise the prices on food, entertainment services (hulu, etc), internet providers, cellphones providers etc.

Are you guys saying that slavery never was abolished? That all us hard working people are kept into slavery by big corporate and people in Government? That by raising prices, while at the same time closing out peoples jobs is sure to keep us there? That by keeping us in poverty, as compared to the wealthy, that it guarantees their continued wealth? This must be why they want Trump out.... the real reason anyhow.... because I know he is for all of us to do well.

I really don't know what to think any more. I see people drunk with materialism and stuck on this me myself attitudes. Only about a fifth of people I deal with are caring enough to give you full information you need or other needed help. I try to be helpful in many ways, many situations. People sometimes don't appreciate it which is weird, but I know those who are considerate of others always seem to do well.

The virus is blowing back up in Korea and Japan again.

Whew... Long day but a got a steering box for my truck from Russ... Only thing that sucks is the box had water inside. I've got to flush the system in the morning. Vacuum pump is rebuilt and no more oil leaks from either the steering box (barrowed) and the vacuum pump which i nicked the seal installing the new power steering pump.

Then since I gotta get power steering fluid to flush I'll deal with the wrong thermostat in the morning. :thud:

COVID UPDATE

I'm going to starting limiting contact with people now. My buddy in town Steve Crump has just closed his shop and laid off his crew. Steve, his wife and kid all three and COVID positive. I heard from another client that there is another family both husband and wife both are COVID-19 positive. Soon as I got done at my clients place I called @Wet Vette and told her the news. I'm doing my utmost in trying to keep it out of my home being its this close now it time to limit my contact with others. It difficult with Eileen and having to do doctors appointments. You all should see me more around the website... Safer way to do business.

Sorry to hear it has gotten so close, take care and take the steps you need to keep your loved ones safe.

It has hit home here as well. 2 weeks ago my uncle (1/2 mile down the road) tested positive and now his son did as well.

I am keeping my distance from them for sure. I have also been off work all last week and again all this week for a torn meniscus in my right knee. It's keeping me away from people in general. Just me and the wife here. We go out to do errands but try to make it quick and wear masks.
