No B20 here (yet) cummins is still dragging there feet on letting us 6.7 users burn it. my state wants go go to B20 soon. All of our diesel fuel is B5 in Mn even if the pump is labeled or not, it's mandated by the state legislature. You don't see to many stations offering different choices on fuel in my area.

you could be right it still is 2%"The mandate requires a blend of 5 percent biodiesel in all diesel sold in the state by May 1 of next year. The percentage climbs to 10 percent by 2012 before reaching 20 percent three years later. Diesel fuel sold in Minnesota today contains 2 percent biodiesel, courtesy of a 2005 mandate, the nation's first when it was signed into law in 2002."

I had the 1693 error code along with the P0234 code a couple of weeks back when my lift pump failed but i don't know what the codes are or if it had anything to do with the pump failure.

The 1693 is a companion code. This just tells you there is another code. The 234 code is your "turbo boost limit exceeded". Someone else will have to chime in on if there is anything that needs to be done with that. At this time I have never had a problem with my turbo.

Some people do ask funny questions. I was putting Molyslip E engine oil additive in my race car drysump oil tank at the speedway and the guy pitted beside me said " hey is that stuff any good"? And I said "no not really", like why would I put it in my engine if it wasn't, lol! It is molybdenum disulphide. My diesel loves it too. In the USA I believe it is sold under the name "Mr. Moly" and there is a whole product line, not just the oil additive. It'll probably reduce the friction, increase the torque and hp output as well as your mpg. Quieter engine too but go to molyslip.com and decide for yourselves. I've been using it since 1977...
