New Travel Trailer

The Wife and I ended up getting a new TT this past week. Our 18CK (22') was getting a little too small on rainy days, and cold mornings with 3 rug rats. We got a Outdoors RV Creekside 26BKS (29') with a 12' slide and bunk beds. Should be a great trailer for the family. We spend 95% of the day outside when camping, but for that other 5% the room will be very handy. The main reason we decided to upgrade is that our 2007 Pioneer is still worth about 90% of what we paid for it in 2007 (got a screaming deal) and we got the 26BKS about 35% off MSRP. It has some great features, 12' Slide, 4 Seasons, HD axles, lots of ground clearance, plenty of storage for my 4 girls, etc Is it camping season yet? http://www.outdoorsrvmfg.com/creekside/model.php?id=40 http://www.outdoorsrvmfg.com/images/rsync/2011/brochures/CreekSide-Web.pdf http://www.outdoorsrvmfg.com/images/rsync/2011/brochures/WelcomeFeaturesCS.pdf http://www.outdoorsrvmfg.com/images/rsync/2011/brochures/OutdoorToughFeaturesCS.pdf http://www.outdoorsrvmfg.com/images/rsync/2011/brochures/CreekSideFlyer.pdf

Come on now... We need to see pictures of it hitched up ot the Dodge at least...:piwwp:Congrads on the the new trailer... You'll love the extra room. For me to upgrade from a 20' dodge Jamboree Motorhome to a 30' Jayco trust me the extra few feet really do add up. As for camping season... It started snowing again...

I did that too... I need a few more can and crawl under it and shoot some more difficult spots and treat some spots and control the rust from starting. :rolleyes:Thing is I've been hanging around a bunch of RV forums... Boy some guys can really spend some money on toys and such. I'm hoping to hear from you and some your ideas that are simple and down home.

Not too many mods planned as of yet, thou there will be a few :-)I stared working on my high pressure propane setup last night (puts 2 1" high pressure ports under the awning for cooking/lanterns). On my 18CK I had a couple of valves to select the tank, but the 26BKS came with one of Type 1 ACME connections with a 1" "T" and I think I'll just mod my current high pressure hose for that setup. I plan on adding the Dexter EZ ride's to the suspension, and possibly the Monroe Shock retrofit kit. I had a Class III receiver on my 18CK, and will probably end up with one on this camper too.

I do nearly all of my cooking outside. I have a table with a Coleman stock and a propane BBQ. It work's well, I'll get some photos. I am seriously thinking of ditching the 2 burner Coleman for a 3 burner camp chef, now that I have the room.
