HYPOCRITES. I bet of all the famous people you guys like never had a drug or alcohol problem.Really, now think about it. Do you like any kind of music ? Drugs and alcohol,yup never. Do you like sports ? Drugs and alcohol,yup never.I use to roadie for a famous guy. I have seen with my own eyes and experienced the lifestyle. I am NOT saying i know the life they live.Are you guys also saying you are good stewards with your time and money and how you treat your bodys? I dont think you guys can comprehend people opening every door for you, giving you choice food, any car you want, any home to live in any drug your body wants.Yes we all can say "well i would of" all crap my friends. You will never know how you will handle fame it until it happens.I like all you guys, i learn from you guys and like to chat as well. however i still respectfully say hypocrites.

Plenty of famous people have gone out the same way. plenty of not famouus people have done the same. There are plenty of others the have made they way thru it and plenty, plenty more that have handled it well. I dont think I would have handled the fame and the money at 20 years old very well. I might very well have gone just like her. I'll never know. I would have liked a shot at it though. I got stoned a plenty in my younger days, tired of it and moved on. Still like my beer and cigs though. When I die i know some folks that will say "if he just took better care of himself". I aint gonna sweat it. Hypocrit? maybe maybe not. In bad taste, could be. I, like you enjoy my time here learning, chatting and BSing. But most of all I like the way we can have differant opinions and accept them for what they are. After all that is part of what has made this site and country great. I do respect your opinion.

While I was reading your above post, the strangest thing happened................I could swear I was hearing violins in the distance!!!! Get over it!! In case you didn't know, I'm as pure as the "wind driven snow"!!!!! Besides: it all boils down to this one little factoid.................You, and you alone, are responsible for what goes into your body!!!!! Plain and simple!!!! Was anyone forcing them to swallow the crap down their gullet, or holding them down injecting crap into their veins, or forcing them to inhale??????? I think not. They did it willingly and with forethought. You can pillory me all you want; but the fact is this, they did it do themselves.............and you're essentially trying to make me feel guilty for it. No on the Grateful dead. Please understand i am not trying to make you feel guilty. I admire the work of musicians. I know they do it to themselves, i get it, i really do. Addiction is a sickness. My point is if the internet was around when hendrix died would we have this post? When there is a John belushi special on tv i never hear them call him what he was in a mean spirited way. Point # 2, is most of us here have had some kind of addiction problem or a family member has. point#3 If YOU like someone and they die from dope are YOU going to post jokes about them? Let me be the first to say, in some aspects i too am a hypocrite. I just hide it better. For the record i am not a Whitney fan. After she died i went to i-tunes and downloaded one of her songs. I do think she has a good voice and a sickness.
