Not sure which is the last one you know of. I went riding a month ago and a guy on a 500 2 stroke was racing me through the woods and I was beating him which is nuts. This is the kinda guy that will just close his eyes and hold it wide open. So we go around a corner and up and hill and he saw that as his chance to catch up. I got over the hill and there was a boulder there, so I slam on the brakes and turn around it, well he was really on the gun so he was airborne while I was going around it. He slammed into me and threw me to the ground and he slammed into the rock, cutting his knee open and breaking some ribs. I have developed crash tactics so I kinda rolled off the bike during the incident. I just got a blood blister fingernail thats still completely black.

That's funny Ryan as your such a cool natured guy to hear you dare deviling on the offroad track for your bikes at 8000 rpm haha dodging bolders and flying ninjas

This last boulder incident was just insane. I mean I had to be on the gas as hard as I could to beat this guy and I was going so fast that I saw the boulder and hit both breaks so hard before I could even grab the clutch that the bike stalled so that was part of the reason he hit me I think since I wasn't moving out of his way. Interestingly enough, him hitting me started my bike back up (never pulled in the clutch at that point either) lol so it worked out, until the rest of him slammed into me. The only really bad but good thing is that this trail is the main trail that is wide with huge banked corners and its an absolute blast to ride on, but it's bidirectional. As in, that boulder coulda been a 5 year old on a little 4 wheeler.. So the fact that we only made it 1/4 mile into it before something like that happened was probably a good thing. We do it every year but sometimes we get really close to hitting someone. Last year I was following him and there was a little jump in the trail which became a little bigger at the speed we were going, but on the other side was a 90 corner and if you didn't make it there was a huge dropoff..so that was uh interesting lol. He just rides so fast that you can't even think of what you're doing. You see a tree stump, well its too late now cause your a foot from it lol. At the same place when I went a month ago (before the fast guy ran into me) we all swapped bikes. Well the guy I normally ride with has a 1990 kawasaki KDX 250 as basically a spare... Somehow I got the short end of the stick on that deal, everyone else was on bikes at least in the new millennium, which is a world of difference. Oddly enough I led the pack, and I figured if I rode a good pace on that old piece of crap, everyone else would be able to keep up just fine (i swear they are sunday drivers). Well I left them all. Not sure how, its like riding a couch through the woods. Eventually they caught up and my dad had gone the wrong way, brother had stalled it, and guy i usually ride with wasnt far behind me. So I told them all I was on a 1990.........and beating them. So that set the tone that they wanted to beat me, bad. Ok, bout time lol. So we took off, me in front, so they could all supposedly pass me. I went a little faster and they were keeping up a little, thing is, this thing has no brakes, like at all...Those old bikes had who knows what as brake pads. Carbide steel or something. The only way it would stop is if you clamped down as hard as you could, and even then it was hardly slowing down. So there I was, no brakes, everyone pushing me to go faster kinda, and it was actually getting fun because they were starting to pick up the pace, but with all the tight curves and no brakes...I had to improvise. I would go around corners too fast and the back tire swingarm would slide over and slam into trees and straighten me back out haha. That was a ton of fun. I like challenges and my bike is just so easy to ride that it kinda takes the challenge out of it (which is why I just go faster). So who wants to ride with me! Guy I ride with broke his foot on that same month ago trip..:lmao: Somehow he turned the front of his foot out and went past a tree that turned his foot all the way back until it broke.. Not sure what the deal was there since the handlebars stick out a lot farther than the footpeg.
