General Manager Tasks
The general manager needs to be present daily on the website daily. He needs to gather information, complaints, and suggestion and have a meeting with other staff once a week. This can be done on the forum, through video, or through phone calls. All issues will be handled in the staff section of the forum and shared with all staff.
Site Data
General manager need to be aware of capturing site data on Google Analytics, Google Webmaster, and Google AdSense and present to the Board of Directors a plan of action to improve website functions that are approved by the staff and owner. This includes handling issues on the backend of the website. All the links will be provided by the owner for the general manager to do his/her job.
The general manager will have to respond to emails that the email staff cannot resolve on their own. This means handling complaints and suggestions from members, staff, and vendors. The support@mopar1973man.com email is handled on the backend of the website under the support ticket section.
Staff
The general manager will have to oversee the staff below him and handle issues that the staff cannot handle on their own. If the general manager cannot handle said issues then this should be brought to the Owner to have the final say and resolve these issues. This should be handled in the staff section so other staff can be aware of said issues.
Membership
The general manager will be handling membership issues, payment on their subscription, billing issues, and check to make sure all membership dues are up to date. Bring all complaints and suggestions back to the Board of directors to handle said issues. It will be required for daily visits to the website to collect disputes, complaints, and even suggestions. Contact information of all members is available on the backend of the software in the Commerce module.
Vendor
General Manager will handle all dealing with vendors. Handle vendor subscription payments, place artwork in the ad rotator, and set up the vendor forum so the vendor has a storefront on the website to communicate with the membership. Make sure the vendors are taken care of and have all abilities for selling their wares to the membership pool. Most of the settings are on the backend of the software,
Disputes
All disputes will be placed up for a vote by the staff on what the outcome or direction will be. Comments will be welcomed at the polls on the reason for your vote. All staff will be able to vote here and come to a resolution of the issues.
Owner
If there are any problems then the General manager will need to bring these issues to the Owner to be resolved and will have the final say.
