At this time, we are all experiencing economic hardships around the world. The Mopar1973man.com exists in effort to provide access to articles
of how to fix or modify diesel vehicles yourselves (we know how it is more expensive to have automotive business or by the dealers), forums where members may post up issues, questions, and give/get advice. And...for those who have the designated subscription, help from Mopar1973man will be provided! 🛠️

Unfortunately, we have not had much input to the website, only a few members have brought information of what work has been completed.
This website is interactive, so the feedback of what work was done and how it was completed on diesel vehicles is crucial to keeping the website actively moving forward.
🔹🔹🔹It has been difficult and near impossible for Michael to complete the work needed on Thor, his 3rd Gen 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 diesel truck. We no longer have his mechanics shop/garage due to the mud/landslide.
And he is unable to do heavy duty work on vehicles as a result of his cancer. New shop is currently pending.
We will keep you posted on that project.🔹🔹🔹
🤔So...where are all of you hard-working, self-made "mechanics" performing repairs or modifications on your 2nd, 3rd, 4th Gen Dodge / diesel vehicles..., and those who have followed the instructions within the posted articles?
👉For those who post articles, we need you to indicate whether there is a solution to your diesel issue; we have provided that option to indicate that the issue is now resolved.
How many of you have been successful with the assistance of other members within the forum chat, or by messaging/talking to Mopar1973man/Michael himself??
We want to know! And please include pics! 📷
Mopar1973man is still working on the clean-up of the destruction from the 2025 mudslide/landslide.
We have replaced some of the tools, but still need more, plus additional equipment. Unfortunately, we are forced to wait until we have more dry space (shop/garage) to store them. We now have a tractor, which Mopar1973man has been using fervently to complete these chores and clean this disaster up.
Operation Clean-up has been ignited and is in "turbo mode"! We are running out of time...Cannot believe FALL 2026 is now here!
Our current hope is to get as much as the rubble removal & dirt clearance finished as soon as possible.
Most of the debris has been sorted out; wood pieces are down in the lower yard ready to be burned after first snowfall of the season, concrete chunks are mostly gone, electrical wiring has been thrown out, metals such as roofing, trash, and fiberglass insulation from the damaged property have been sorted through for scrapping and ready to be taken to the appropriate locations for disposal.
Some excess dirt has already been moved for redistribution among the rest of the property to level the ground and restructure the lawn where we will plant new grass. Plans for a new shop have been discussed and this project will hopefully begin Spring/Summer 2027 if all goes well up to that point in time.

Just a Thought:
We have also been working on improving our own sustainability for being prepared in the event of power outages, possible snowy winter season, and other applicable preparedness measures. If you are also doing the same, please feel free to share any tidbits of what you do to prepare your families for any kind of "emergency" event. Your membership, participation, recommendations, and ideas are always appreciated!
