So I’m looking to do a motor and body swap. I have a 1994 12 valve manual that’s burning oil and a rusty body. I also have a 12 valve that came outta a 1997 that had a auto transmission behind it but has a week injection pump (I’m told). So I’m putting different body on the 94 and want to put the 97 motor in the 94 frame and body. Can I put the injection pump from the 94 motor on the 97 motor with no isssues and was wanting to add a fuel plate to it give it a little more hp, should I be changing the timeing also? And was gonna go with a LuK clutch that can handle 400 hp and 1000 ft. Any input? Thanks !

  • The Injection pumps are interchangeable and the engine will work better with a few extra degrees, if you have the timing kit tools. Luk makes good clutches, not much more can be said about that.
