Can not view new posts?

For the last few weeks I get on here and I hit the "view new content" button and I get no results. But I go to the forums and I see new posts/threads showing up . I know I didn't change any settings but but Ive played with the side bar menu and still no dice.

What am I missing here?

I'm not sure what I'm missing, but it appears as if the only posts that show up are ones I have commented on. I have messed with all the settings on the side bar and it isn't doing anything to show new posts.

Intelligence factor?? LOL

I somehow selected a choice under the "other" option menu and was not aware I could simply deselect my option and leave it blank.
