  1. Got a message about my account going inactive, so I wanted to post to keep it alive. Still got my 06 Flatbed, but she's been sitting a month or two due to high diesel prices. Still drives like new though. Maybe this spring/summer I can log some miles on her. I have 4 fullsize Ford Broncos in the stables, one decommissioned as a parts truck. My 96 Bronco 302/5 speed manual is a bad weather commuter, and then my 99 Chevy Metro does fair weather commuting duty. 06 Cummins seems to only get a workout for HayHauling duty, or to get oversize stuff like 10' stock panels, etc. Later
  2. I am a long time user of B20 (in the Fords) and never had a problem. Here we have B2 at one station and B20 at another. I have run about 4 tanks of B20 through my Dodge. I don't believe the 400% worse emissions. As a matter of fact, I have gone through emissions with flying colors on B20 multiple times with very little smoke on the puff test with my old 96 Powerstroke. Much much cleaner with B20 than #2.I think Dodge always stood by B2 max. Their problem is the B20 - B100 not meeting certain standards (home brew stuff). All stations I know of meet certain biodiesel standards, the same as the official B2 stuff. Can't remember the acronym for the standard off the top of my head.

This site was mentioned in a post over at ecomodder.com. I am a new owner of a 2006 3500 QC ST dually 5.9 with a 6 speed manual. It was a lease truck with a flatbed and 133k miles on it. The family-owned dealer said he put on all new brakes (rotors/drums and pads), new heater core, all fluids changed including the rear end. Detailed by his daughter. New motor was installed around 90k - so says the dealer. I think the PO might have meth injected it. There were a couple of plugs in the exhaust manifold that might have had a couple of "somethings" installed and removed, most likely from the old motor. Regardless, the engine had no signs of head coking or other leaks, shifts great, drives straight. I had to replace the radio, install the missing front speakers, and replace the radio bezel. Other than that, it's flawless!I have a 1988 24 foot gooseneck stock trailer for the horses/whatever and hauling hay. I hail out of Nunn, Colorado in the Pawnee National Grasslands in Northern Colorado and commute to Fort Lupton, Colorado. Truck is used mostly on the weekends, but I occasionally take it to work for a couple/3 days.
