  1. Thanks for all information gentlemen. Should the PS fluid be replaced/ flushed. How often should it be done? Is the growl just a Dodge thing and not to be worried about?
  2. My 99 has the typical power steering growl. I had a 98.5 that did the same thing and I swapped the fluid with ATF+4. I wanted your opinion on it and if there was an easier way to fluid swap. I vacuumed the fluid from the reservoir, filled with ATF, ran it, then repeated the process until I thought I had mostly new fluid. Ran it for a couple of years with no problem and was noise free. Thanks for amy input.
  3. You guys aren't spot on. They rusted out an the bottom where they were sitting ties together on on a vibration pad. Will do more to keep undercarriage clean.
  4. Thanks for all the help. I decided to go back with OEM lines. It was the quickest fit for me. Cost about $80 for both lines from dealer.
  5. First I have to say MoparMan rocks. Has saved me hundreds if not thousands over the years! I'm looking for suggestions on the hard lines from the ABS controller and aluminum block that run to frame mounted blocks. It appears that Dodge went with a hybrid of standard and metric on the lines. Wanted to se what y'all have done when they rust out. I was blessed that failure occurred on the ranch and not on the road. Is there pre-bent lines available or has anyone used stainless braided for this application. Thanks for any input.
