When you adjust valves on 95 cummins.Is it of great importants to find Top dead center?

When my pmc went out I thought i would be smart a buy one at the parts store.Yes it was cheaper,but when the dealer tryed to program it we found another bin# in it.I returned it no they would not pay for the dealers labor.I ened up getting one from the dealer and it workes fine.I stell think when the 8volt went out it burnt the pmc up.Wish i could be more of a help.Im trying to finger out why I keep getting air in my injecters.

I wish i could tell you what they did but i was out of town when the repair was done.They just told me it was a 8volt wire that had to be replaced.I tried to look for the repair and did see where the wire was fixed.

Yes trucks built july 10. 1995 to july 1. 1996.It was a recall by the NTSB. --- Update to the previous post... What would be causing this problem on my brakes.I do not have a full pedal like i did before. Thanks Cabinet Man.

Can you steal take your truck for the recall if its 14ys old?Has anyone else had this work done? I found out about it on the net after i started having brake problems.I have new brakes and bleed all the lines. I do not have full pedel. The recall sayes dealer well do a vacuum pump check and replace a hose that is engine oil resistant.
