So if your running a junky edge comp or juice and want just a little more fun, this is what smoke out put you can expect with a 90hp 7x.0085 VCO injector from DAP. Clean burning and sensible injector for a well balanced rig. Pop pressure on this truck is 300bar. Truck setup: 99 model year, fass 95, edge juice (same program as comp), 4” exhaust, HX35W, garbage jasper trans, triple disc, 4.10 gear. this specific truck doesn’t have the pump tap installed due to a new VP44 installed so this is just stock, level 1/sub 1 and level 2/sub 1 for low smoke and smooth acceleration to keep traction under control. With levels 3-4-5-6 with the pump tap of course expect smoke and hard torque and acceleration. This truck is a fleet tow rig and they don’t run the pump tap because employees drive the truck and they don’t want it hotrodded but wanted a little more pull without the pump tap being installed. stock: level 1/sub 1: level 2/sub 1: Good setup for daily drivers and tow rigs. You can hit 1300-1350* on wide open runs on all levels so make sure you have a good set of gauges (not glow shi(f)t, there garbage, slow and your gonna melt a piston)... would work well with S03 users also. Levels 1-4 or if you use REVO settings (actual level is irrelevant then).

I have a triple gauge pod with speaker hole for my a-pillar. What three gauges should I get? I originally wanted trans temp, egt's, and boost. But I have been reading a lot about how important fuel pressure is to monitor also. What are you guys running? And what is the best combo set up? If I go with all 4 gauges, where would the best place be to placed the other one? Thanks guys.

Stalling & Edge Speed Going Crazy

My edge mph stays 20 to 70 mph above my actual mph so when i am traveling at 65 it thinks i am going 150 or so. i have to leave my edge alert at 200 to keep it from alarming nonstop. when i am traveling between 60 and 70 mph it shuts down like i am governing it out. once it gets below 60 it drives perfect. i tried unplugging the edge and it couldnt even get to highway speeds. had to plug it back in just to get home. will get codes read tomorrow as the only one the dash show in 1693 which we all know is a companion code. any ideas? -
Are these hard to install I want to gain fuel mileage and power the raptor fuel pump I want is the 100 gph how much horse power are these good for I would do the 150 but don't want to mess with the draw straw the edge I want is the juice with attitude to monitor egt fuel pressure and tranny temp will this work for me I eventually want to do ddp injectors probably around 100 125 when I bought the truck I was told it had 75 HP injectors and it does have 4 in down tube with 5 in straight exhaust but I really need to do a fuel pump soon side note had tranny checked it had been rebuilt some time and has a shift kit nothing else is known thanks in advance sorry about the long post

Hey, I just purchased a 2005 2500 5.9L, i need some advice, I don't know anything about tuning or where to begin, what is the best purchase for cheap, as in around $1,000. and suggestions with air intake? and maybe DPP cool hose or alternatives?

Hey. So today I was stomping on the gas a little just getting a feel for new injectors as well as the TC+VB and other stuff had done recently. Seemed pretty good - good throttle response, no slipping and really grabs in 3/4th but I get home and doing some other work - and I notice the VP44 TAP has come off. (I have a stealth plate and the wire that runs from the tap to the EDGE module has come off - basically only attached to the edge now and no longer completing the circuit to the VP44. Yet power is still really good ?? So - guessing that the edge doesn;t constantly send/receive info the vp44 ? Basically once its set on Level 5 - it stays on level 5 - and now the TAP is gone it still is able to have the appropriate fuel delivered - I just won't be able to drop down to levels 1,2 as far as fuel/timing go etc ??
