So i just replaced the complete dash on my 2001 3500. I also replaced the VP and ran the truck before i pulled the dash.
At first the truck ran rot a few seconds then shut of. On the third start up it would not start at all now. I do have a plug that i can not find the plug for. Below are pictures from the interweb and one of mine.
Anyone have an ideal of where it goes.
i had a friend helping me so i don’t know where he unplugged it!!!!

Up on the steering column. Attaches to clock-spring harness lead. Don’t know why would be no start though..

Truck will crank, no start?

Yes sir this is the plug coming from the column harness.
It’s all plugged in up top but this is under the dash.
Didn’t know if this plug could cause that.
I don’t see where it would plug in under the dash.

It started twice and shut down. Then wouldn’t start the third time but will turn over.

I can try and take a pic tomorrow. But it should be fairly tucked up in there. The other connector doesn’t have much length.

I think that ones for cruise control, all the SRS are yellow, so shouldn’t affect it anyways..

Im guessing you’ve tried bleeding it? Not sucking air from another source? Do you have a fuel pressure gauge?
