What change will I see ? 97 12 valve with 100 plate in middle position. 4" turbo back exhaust. star-wheel adjusted so I get a mild haze under full throttle. Stock HX35. Will I loose power ? Higher egt ? Should I leave it in ?

The only difference you will see is lower Max boost pressure.
