Swapping a Cummins from a 97 Dodge dually into my truck.Does this engine have a vacuum pump on it so my power brakes will work?It came equipped with the hydro-boost power steering/brake comglomeration.

Yeah it has a vacuum pump, all 12v's do. The power brakes work off the power steering pump though.

I don't think the vacuum pump has enough capacity to support power brakes. it certainly doesn't have the line size for it. Perhaps with a decent vacuum reservoir, though I'm not sure what application you could steal one from.Much easier to convert your truck over to hydroboost.
