January 14, 201015 yr Well for one, the hemi is a 5.7, so if you are sure it's a 5.9, it's not hemi. Nevertheless, they kept making the 5.9 clear up until 2003 sometime, then also in 2003, they transistioned to the HEMI and dropped the 5.9.
