  1. I would like to do this same modification. My original cigarette lighter has broken and needs to be replaced. I pulled the cup holder in an effort to gain access into the opening where the cigarette lighter goes, but its way to tight to get a hand into. I'm not sure how you would ever get a nut on the back to tighten a new usb charger in there?
  2. So I found the connector on the vacuum pump and I slid the tube back in. Now my air vents are working again. Thanks to all of you that pointed me in the right direction. I'm still really happy with the new RV275 injectors. I took it for a drive today and power and throttle response has increased significantly and no smoke at all. One thing I noticed is that my fuel pressure has increased about 1/2 psi at both idle and WOT. Also, my WOT boost pressure has increased by about 1 1/2 psi. Thanks again!
  3. Thanks for the help, I'll go check it out. It shouldn't have come off for me either, but I also was a little over zealous in my approach to the project.
  4. Thanks for the quick response. So I assume that the vacuum pump is some where on that driver side near the brake master cylinder area?
  5. So I swapped out my injectors today with a new set of RV 275s. I'm pleased with the performance boost and overall improvement in throttle response. My problem I'm having is that I have a plastic tube about 3/16" in diameter that has come loose and I can't figure out where it goes. In the attached picture you can see that one end comes from what appears to be a check valve maybe. Can anyone help me identify what and where this tubing is and where the other end may attach. On a possible related note, my interior vents have stopped working and they worked fine yesterday. My AC is producing cold air but the vents won't open. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Mopar Man, When you say removing the stock filter can and reusing the old bolts can cause the manifold to leak, are you referring to the stock fuel filter canister? I did remove my stock fuel filter when I installed the AirDog. I don't recall what bolts I used. I haven't checked it for leaks yet so I guess I better do that. So in theory, with no leaks in the system and my Edge EZ with the boost elbow installed, my maximum boost will likely be limited to approximately 25 psi, or can expect a little more?
  7. So I tested my boost gauge and it is accurate and working properly. I then tested my waste gate actuator and it starts opening at 21 to 22 psi, which seems about right to me. I then replaced the Edge boost elbow with another one that I had and it does appear to be working better. I was able to get about 25 psi at WOT. I then went back and ran another pressure leak test through the turbo and I found that I still have a small leak on the lower hot side turbo boot where it attaches to the inter-cooler. I've tightened it as much as I can but it still leaks. So I think I'm going to go ahead and replace all 4 boots since these are the original boots. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get a good set of boots that fit properly? I've read some reviews of boots that just don't fit correctly even though they are sold for this year truck.
  8. Thanks for all the great suggestions. I'll dig deeper tomorrow. Thanks again!
  9. So today I performed the leak test and found 4 leaks. The boost elbow was leaking, the 2 hot side boots were leaking, and the boost gauge fitting was leaking. I was able to stop all the leaks by tightening the fittings. None of the boots have any holes in them that I could find. I also checked the MAP and intake for leaks. I was unable to find any other leaks. That's the good news. I still am only able to produce 22lbs of boost with the boost elbow. Under WOT the boosts rises quickly to 22lbs and just stops. Maybe that's all I can get with the boost elbow?
  10. Thanks for the explanation Mopar Man. I appreciate it.
  11. Thanks dripley. ! less thing to do.
  12. So I built my boost leak tester and plan to test for leaks today. I've read that some suggest to have the engine at TDC and others say it doesn't make any difference. Do I need to have it at TDC?
  13. The elbow that came with my EZ does not appear to be adjustable. I've seen pictures of elbows with adjustment screws, but mine doesn't have one.
  14. IBMobile it looks like you have nearly the exact setup that I have. As Me78569 suggested, I very well could have a leak. I plan to run a leak test first. Once I verify that I have no leaks I think I will work on a manual boost controller like you have. Thanks for the tips!
  15. Copy that, I'll give that a try. So how much boost should i get with the elbow alone?
