After install of the insight I set the guages to read boost and frp. the highest the boost got when getting on it was 27.8 and 1.9 crusing. the fuel rail pressure at idle reads 5.5kpsi and and will hit around 20 kpsi when on it and crusing sits about 7 to 9 kpsi. Do these numbers sound right??

Sometimes just acts like not getting enough fuel or boost.

Already ordered the cs. I wanted to get something as soon as posible truck been acting a lil strange and dont know if its from the cold weather or what. It only gets down to about 25 to 35 degs at night and been in the mid 40's during the day

Bought the smarty jr with a edge insight cs. will be here in 4 days. Guess I will see if the smarty jr is as good as everyone says in a few days

Is there any reasons i should buy this for use as guages???

I noticed that this am my truck stumbled off and on a little when first started and idling 36deg. but noticed my voltage was reading lower then normal during the first few minutes of idling while it was stumbling

I appreciate it great info. Think I will go with a smarty jr and some mech gauges then. I want to monitor boost egt and fuel preasure. Is there anything else I should worry about or that would be any more important then the others?

So I can run the edge comp and still use the cs for guages and are they accurate? Sorry for all the questions but last time i used a programmer was 8 years ago on a 6.0 gm gasser and hated it. Or better to just run a programmer and mech gauges?

Been there done that looking for personal experiance not what the manufacturer claims. Basically what works and whats reliable and trusted by other Cummins owners - - - Updated - - - Thanks for the info. Can I load a smarty and use something else like a banks iq or the cs just for gauges???

Tried other forums and used there search feature and just keep getting told to use the search feature:banghead:. Need advise on a programmer. I am looking for one with gauges and that wont hurt my mpg was looking at the JWAcs. Can anyone with any knowladge point me in the right direction. any help is appreciated. thanks
