  1. Can anyone send me some hydraulic and electrical schematics for my 1999 47re ? I’m trying to figure out a transmission issue . TIA
  2. I did this but with the key off and it was showing the 12 volts so I’m probably good then. Thanks
  3. Is there a way to check if my fuel tap is working using a volt meter ? Truck is a 99
  4. I got a weird one for the 68s savvy , I built a 2008 68 for my customer that came in burnt and would barely move in first . long story short I built it with a ton of upgrades and everything is upgraded and gone through, vacuumed tested etc . After installing it and took it for a test drive it has no tcc lockup and it wouldn’t shift to 6th unless you release the pedal all the way , it also set code p0740 code at 10 miles of driving . I relearned the transmission and drive 32 miles with no code but same issues of no tcc engagement and only 6th by releasing the throttle pedal. Believing I did everything right ,I dropped the trans and installed another new torque converter but that didn’t fix the issue so I pulled the trans for the second time and went through the pump and vb to try to find something but no luck , everything looked good and where it supposed to be with all the valves moving freely and everything passing vacuum test and torqued to spec with no luck. I replaced the solenoid pack with a new oem then relearned the transmission again with no luck and same issue as before with code p0740 back again. any ideas or help would be appreciated, for right now I’m going to pull the pan and replace the vb with a good core then if that don’t I’ll drop the trans and replace the pump with a good core .
  5. Thanks to all for the info ,
  6. I rather ask here than pars store or google, what kind of oil does a nv4500 get? and how many quarts ?
  7. Hmm , I bought the hypertech speedometer calibrator I hooked it up , changed my tires to 31.5 long time ago but the dang thing quit working on the middle of the download . I never called them to try to get it figured out . But I ran like 3k miles since then and the lights just tuned on . I haven’t changed tires for street and track . I haven’t bought track tires and wheels yet . I’ll check wheel bearings and sensors when I get a chance . At least you guys have gave me starting points to check . I didn’t know where to even start . thanks everybody , I’ll keep y’all updated.
  8. the speedometer does work correctly , I'll find the axle sensors and replace them . Thanks , I will check it out thanks , thanks for the info
  9. My e-brake light and abs light came on my dash , the first time they came on after a few miles they turned off, second time they came on they turned off after a few miles again then the third time they came on they stayed . the truck is a 1999 auto 4wd , I'm getting ready to go hit up the test and tune at the trac and I would like to make sure my brakes are good. The brake fluid reservoir is full and I haven't added any . Any recommendations on where to start ?
  10. I didn’t like the 3200 max rpm on the comp so I swapped for the quad again, ended up buying your large injector extreme tune . My truck likes it and way more power than the edge too .
  11. Sounds good thank you , and the comp juice with attitude supposed to be 3600rpm according to their website vs quad 3700 rpm and my comp hot unlocked 3200 rpm. From what I figured, the quad does fuel harder and more rpm than the comp hot unlocked , with my quad I couldn't keep my egt's under control and I could get 59 psi. Edge hot unlocked comp I can go through all gears at wot with manageable egt's only getting 55 psi . As I keep upgrading bolt on parts if I feel like I need more fuel then I can run the quad but for now I enjoy the shift on the fly and the fact I can punch it longer than 5 seconds with the turbo I got with the comp. Thank all of you for the input ,
  12. Yeah I can tell the edge doesn’t fuel as hard but I like how smooth the power is , I’m thinking about getting the newer edge juice with attitude, I want the higher rpm’s for race season.
  13. So I swapped the quad for my old comp box and no more bucking or shaking . It completely got rid of it . I did noticed I get like 4 less psi ,the comp box is not a boost fooler right ? Can I buy a boost fooler and run it with my comp box ?
  14. sounds good thank you , I got lockup now so ill get to testing . It doesn't do it with all the timing settings at 0 and rpm at 1,2,3,4,5 with lockup at wot or cruising. I'll test the other settings with my old tunes thank you,
  15. Is the cruise timing the light throttle load limit on my tune ?
  16. My converter will be here today so I’ll have lockup again , I will play with the settings and make sure it’s not doing it with the 1,2,3,4,5 and if it is then it’s not doing it bad at all but I can’t lock the converter to really tell . I know it did it with 1,2,3.5,5,6.5 so I went back to 1,2,3,4,5. I’ll try the cruise timing too .
  17. Perfect I’ll play with it , and let you know .
  18. Yeah I hit redline every gear when I’m playing with it around 3500 plus , but it’s just weird I don’t get it . at least we got it acting right with the timing trick you gave me . I appreciate it sir
  19. Tell me about it , when I get my new pump I’ll turn the timing back to what I had it and see if it still does it
  20. So I tried this and the aggressive bucking was back , when doing a hard pull and then let off the throttle it would buck super aggressive so I stopped on the side of the road and then adjusted the settings back to low psi timing reduct doing it or the rpm curve. 1500: 1 2000: 2 2500: 3 3000: 4 max: 5 then problem was instantly gone . I'm going to leave it like this for now but I can't understand if its the
  21. Thank you I’ll try it , if the bucking comes back I’ll just go back to the rpm 1,2,3,4,5 and reduct back to 0 , I rather have a smooth rpm .
  22. Here ya go . This is the tune I changed , all I did is changed the timing to what you said .
  23. I tried this and wow , I think it’s going and the truck if fueling like crazy when it’s not cutting out . I currently don’t have lockup but I have a new converter heading my way . I will try it with lockup when my converter gets here and let you know . So what can I do for timing now . I mean to try and squeeze the most out of it . As of right now it’s staying like this because it is the best it has acted out of all the tuning I’ve tried . I’m getting ready to take it to the 1/8 in April so any advice to squeeze the most power without bucking like crazy would be noted . thank you for your help , you’ve helped me a lot.
