24v weird throttle after nv4500 swap.
I did more searching last night and seen that the smarty is able to do what I need(i think) . I sent a email to Mads. I'm thinking this is the way I'm gonna go. Can't really have my truck down this seems like a reasonable solution.

24v weird throttle after nv4500 swap.
I had sent a email waiting for a response. I'd like to figure out a way to do it without my truck being down. It's my only truck at the moment

24v weird throttle after nv4500 swap.
02 24v i swapped 5spd in place of the auto. Im still using auto ecm/pcm with no check engine lights. Occasionally the trans temp light stays on for a few min then shuts off. The throttle response is weird and Occasionally wont rev past 19-2000rpm. Apps checked out. I've been using the search function and have found that i need ecm/pcm reflashed? Does anyone know if this can be accomplished with a tuner? (Or do i need to find a manual ecm/pcm.)If so any recommendations? I already tried calling a dealer. They had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. Any advice is appreciated.

98 12v coolant temp sensor pigtail location
I figured I didn't have the correct wiring harness. I'm currently swapping in a complete 96 harness.

98 12v coolant temp sensor pigtail location
This is my first fourm post so be easy on me. Im in the process of 12v swap in my 99. I have 98 12v pcm and engine harness. Everything was going good until I got to the coolant temp sensor. I can't find a pigtail that goes to the coolant temp sensor. (I belive on 98 12v it moved from the back of the head towards the middle)Im wondering if anyone can tell me where does coolant temp sensor pigtail come out of the engine wire harness? Or is the ect pigtail in the underhood side of the harness? I also noticed I have no provisions in my fusebox for the fuel heater ect. Do I also need a diesel underhood harness? I'm stumped. Any help is appreciated. I have 20 trucks to look at but none are a 98 12v
