Fuel gauge issues
I pulled the unit out again today and ohm it with it out of the tank. It only ohm from .03 to .21. Again only reads around 1/4 tank. What do you guys think? I called 2 dodge dealers and not one can tell me what the unit is suppose to ohm at.

Fuel gauge issues
I made sure it didn't rotate when installing but I am going to check. I did notice when I put 5v to the wire the gauge first went to full and then slowly dropped to 1/4 where it stayed. Won't know anything until I lift box again tonight. I am getting pretty good at now. Lol

We'll I put 5v to the sending unit and the gauge reads 1/4 tank. I just filled up yesterday and only have 30 miles on the tank. If this is correct sounds like I have the float stuck.

Fuel gauge issues
Where am I suppose to find voltage? There is only 2 wires coming from the sender. From the diagrams I've found the black one is a ground that runs to the PCM and the other is the signal going to the PCM also. Sorry if I am making this hard

Fuel gauge issues
We'll I put in a new sending unit and have the same results. The dodge dealer here claims the PCM sends a 5v signal to the sending unit. So my question is can you instal a 12vdc to 5vdc converter and bypass the PCM? Found some online really cheap. I really don't want to spend 500 for a new PCM just for the fuel gauge to work.

Fuel gauge issues
We'll pulled the sender and moved the arm up and down with no movement on the fuel guage. What kind of ohm should I get from the sender with no wires hooked up? Fuel guage is still stuck way below e.

I will pull it tonight!

Fuel gauge issues
From the wiring diagram it shows a negative wire coming from the PCM. The dodge dealer say they are looking for power in that wire. So does power really go through the negative wire. I just want all my bases covered when I go to get my truck.

Fuel gauge issues
We'll it's been awhile since I've had time to work on this. I ohm the sending unit from the top of the tank and get 0.0. So for dodge to warranty the part they have to diagnose the sending unit themselves. Took it to dodge and they say the sender is good and have a bad PCM. They also said the PCM isn't sending any power to the sending unit. This doesn't make sense to me. If the sending unit doesn't show any resistance then the sending unit is bad? And the unit runs off a ground? So they will never get power from the PCM to the sender. Please help

Fuel gauge issues
I did ohm the ground and signal wire and it's good from the sending unit to the PCM. Is it possible to just ground the ground wire from outside the PCM for testing purposes or am I risking damage?

Fuel gauge issues
This is what I have found now, if I unhook the negative side of both batteries and hook them back up the gauge will move to full with the key on. After about 90 seconds the gauge will slowly go back to empty. Does anybody have any theories on this? I'm trying to wait until all else to just buy a new PCM and hope that works.

We'll I have another dumb question. How can you tell if the sensor ground is grounding on the PCM?

Quadzilla removal
I bought it off the lot. It has an Air Dog 150 with draw straw, found the straw trying to fix the fuel gauge. They motor appears to be stock. And has manual locker in the cab for the front axle.

We'll I first off I want to thank this site. I don't want to start a negative post about any company. I don't know enough about quadzilla to make a good personal opinion on this product. The little experience I have with it is not not in my personal taste. I will leave it at that. All I want is the proper way to uninstall the product. If somebody is interested in this product please send me a private message. All profit will go to this site as I am a new member have used this site many times. Hope nobody has negative feelings on this. Thank you.

What year did they stop making products? How do I know what year my adrenaline is?

Quadzilla removal
Bought a 2002 2500 and has a quadzilla adrenaline. Just want to know if anyone would still have the install manual so I can use it to uninstall it correctly. Thanks. Let me know if you need more info on the unit as I'm not to familiar with quadzilla products.

Fuel gauge issues
I am confused. I followed both wire from the sending unit and they go into the PCM. We'll I think it's the PCM, it's on the passenger side on the fire wall behind the air filter. Does it go to the ECM after the PCM?
-
Fuel gauge issues
We'll it was short lived. Didn't even make it out of driveway and back to empty. Is it safe to say the PCM is to blame? All the wires are good. It also looks like the PCM has been replaced recently. It's the cleanest part under the hood and it's appears to be a Motorola brand.

Lol. It's not full. I have about 150 miles on the tank.

Fuel gauge issues
So I was looking at the PCM and noticed its ground was pretty dirty. So to be cautious I unhooked the batteries before I removed the ground cable. Took it off and cleaned the ends. Hooked everything back up and now my fuel gauge is stuck on full. What did I do wrong or what does that mean?

Fuel gauge issues
Bare with me here, so the non signal wire is a ground? Does that mean I just need to ground it and all should be good? Sorry I'm not the best with electrical but I will get it sooner or later.
