Can i juste make my block work like a 00 ? With changing the cam gear for a reading with only a cam sensor

I buy the truck with this probleme. If the cummins block its 98.5 can this block work with a ecm off a 00 or i have too change the wirring and the ecm?

I a got a weard probleme and i discoverd that my truck on paper is a 2001 and on the door the fabrication was 03/13/00 is that normale? so when the truck was fully original those it have the 2001 block that only run a cam sensor? My trouble i got a p0341 and i cheque all what you say to cheque on the your obd11 test twice and i see nothing. So before changing the ecm or the vp44 because every body says its should be that But it a very expensive test!!! I got a few question before i discovert that the block have been swap the cummins block is a 98.5 with a ecm 00 And the wiring that plugue the block is like 01-02 because i have no unplogue wire and the crank sensor on the block just beind the starter is unplogue. So can this be my trouble off being in (limp mode) i got a Block that supose to be working with a cam and crank in 98.5 and the truck wiring supose to be running with only a cam. Can my trouble be that the cam gear between the two years is reding a différentes thing? Those anyone have the picture off the two cam gear and can i just change that and the truck will stop being in limp mode

I know that lots off you run isspro gauge kit but i see glow shift kit on the internet is this a good kit for me my truck is all stuck but i've a probleme and i want to see my boost pressure, The fuel pressure and pyrometer egt gauge. The boost pressure is mecanic gauge and the 2 other is electrical. 60psi boost , pyrometer egt gauge 1500 and the fuel pressure 30psi all that for 240.00$ i know its not the best butt is anyone run this kit and have comment thanks every body

Okey my west gate is not fonctionnal she blead air on the shaft so i've disconnect her and i have the code reader and its just throw p0341 not boost presure code if the west gate not work it can putt me in the limp mode its can be that?

All filter is new and its auto transmision and i cant tell the rpm its just run like 5sec when i start the truck and then fall to zero

Yes i know that the chip wont fix the probleme butt can she blow the ecm when the other owner put that on the truck . And when i say no power its like when i start at a green light and it the fuel to the flour it take a longue time to get 50km/h and 70 to 100 i dont tell you a prius is faster then me lol. I didn't heard the turbo in the truck with all mecanic stock is it nomarle

I dont want to add power i just wanna know if the power puck cant broke the ecm because when i baught the truck it *** the power puck and it *** no torque and even if i unplugue the chip its *** no power i've check all my wiring two time and the only thing i got its no resistence bbetween the ground and the gray wire on the cam ssenor

What do you tinks about the diablo power puck on a cummins 2001 because a heard people talking about that chip that cause ecm probleme and I've got some problem with my truck no power with the ship and same thing if I get the chip off the truck. The person a bought the truck I see the he bypass the fuel transfer pump to get feed frum a tan wire under the dash and i get p0341 and p0230 on obd2 and I change de cam sensor for the p0341 and still the code recome on check engine i dont know what i can doo

OK perfect im gonna check all the connections and wire to be chure its not that before change the ecm

Between the ecm and the sensor i got 5ohms

I mmopart1973 i got no omhs between the wire gray and the ground on the truck like you said in your test and yes i clear the code and I alraidy chance the cam shaft position sensor and the truck still now power and I have no roman too sory for my anglish lol
