Does anybody have suggestions on where to buy a cylinder head. Machine shop notified me today mine is cracked. Alot.

My stock cam came out looking brand new. That's the most aggrivating thing. Why wouldn't a lubrication problem waste the stock stick?

For some reason I can't upload pics? I may have hit 2500 rpm one time on my way up the highway. @TFaoro definitely weird that it would fail on the journals. Tapets look fine. Hopefully the shop i take my block to can polish them out.

Got the power plant pulled tonight.

New cam. My guess is the journals were damaged before. @CSM i just rlied on h cluscluster for my op reading. @Mopar1973Man

They said it would be caused by a loss of oil pressure to the cam journals. But I'm not sure how that would happen. I had ample oil pressure be fore start up due to bleeding the injectors after the install.

Recently installed hamilton 188 220 cam in my 02 ram, followed all breakin and install procedures and it decided after the 3rd and final lash sequence to Gaul and seize on 5 of the seven journals. Now I pull the engine and do a full rebuild! Dang it.
