  1. Got the new turbo put on, also replaced all fluids, oil cooler, oil filter housing, pressure relief valve, oil filter and gaskets... Had a lil Gray smoke on start up but cleared up after running a lil while, truck sat for a month while waiting on parts... Exhaust manifold was dry on inside, exhaust dry on inside, turbo dry.... I'm confused
  2. If this truck sold for $16000 Canadian isn't that like $5000 US?
  3. I'm wondering if maybe the oil cooler or relief valve could be causing this...
  4. Well I let it idle a lil after a drive a lil bit ago and the oil pressure fell off the gauge
  5. Is it possible there could be oil restriction in the oil filter housing causing this or am I off base??
  6. Rebuilt motor in frame, due to dropped valve New injectors, studs, head gasket, gauges Holset turbo = failure within 7 days (oil into exhaust side) Replaced with cheap eBay turbo = excessive shaft play within 14 days AFE blade runner= 3 weeks starting to show signs of excessive shaft play.... And slight oil blow through exhaust side This is getting really old.... Replaced oil feed line and adapter at the turbo when I installed the eBay turbo with new ones... Any advice or help???

Anybody know where I can get a couple cowl plugs... Not sure what they are called. You have to pull them to take the push rods out. The rubber grommet things up under the cowl. 2004 2500 4*4
  9. Yet again though it's weird because it was showing on the torque app as no reading.. Not 14.7 which is atmosphere... That's what had me confused... I'd think if the computer saw no reading from the map sensor it would trip a code.... Like it did when I unplugged it trying to figure this out......
  10. It wasn't reading any boost on my map sensor... Now it is... I'm thinking the map sensor is faulty but it never tripped any codes
  11. Yesterday I cleaned the map sensor, drove truck a lil.... Still no power This morning I started truck to warm up for work drive and when I drove off..... Suddenly the trucks running better than ever... Boost reading on my map sensor again
  12. Are there any sensors that could cause this, without throwing a code or CEL?
  13. Yours sounds like exactly what mine is doing, no codes, no power, no smoke at all....
  14. I have an edge ez box, and it was smoking before under throttle... Hence my concern No power, not smoking And yes I have removed the box to test, Problem remained
