still havent tested high idle yet because of the eletrical issue i had yesterday started to get worse today. truck not wanting to start no lift pump. testeted both battries found both had bad grounds removed the ground cleaned and reinstalled. battries tested good then. gona see how she acts today and if i can find my wallet il go get a resistor also! the race tune completly fixed the first gear issue. truck runs amazing now. just gotta keep it below lvl 3 i cant aford new tires right now haha

having the same issue as this guy not sure what to do but if i cant get it downloaded ill do it manually unistalled and reinstalled iquad then it worked ill go do a test drive shortly thank you when i get some spare cash i wont forget about the donation link!

awesome yeah ive spent days chasing electrical issues on my twin yanmar 4lha then changed the alt because it was went bad and everything went back to normal. ill change that tomorrow and check the high idle and ill let you know what i find. im trying to download that race tune now. to try and find the smoke and miss in first gear. i used notpad to open the json file but im not sure how to get it to the quad.

ive had alt do werid things on my boats so im guessing ill just go get a new one tomorrow. guess what i need to know is it drive able or is it gona fry my ecm

So I didn't get around to testing the high idle because I went hunting. But on on the way I noticed a bigger issue. I think your right about the alt. My volt meter was jumping for the first few miles then it smoothed out. Quadzilla would not connect during that time and ever time it bounced below 14 quad with lose connection. So I check the alt as soon as I got home and I'm getting around 30v ac at the alt. Question is how bad is this for my truck. Can I drive it to the parts store tomorrow or should i just park it And get a ride. Thanks for the advice you really helped me catch this early on. Just wish I asked sooner.

started it this morning and let it run for a hour i would bet it was below 26. but could be just above quad was on but set to 0

I'll go get a resister and check that later. Why would it not engage the high idle on its own?

The wait to start light does come on when cold. The relays for the grid heater is bad and have a new one comming but I doubt that's related. I will check the alt today and get Back. I am almost positive there is not a stock High idle. But i will check that as well. I just weird as soo as I go to v2 this issue arises.

I doubt I have a stock high idle as I ran it for year with the v1 adr with out any issues but I will check. And as for the tune I'm useing the stock one that you upload from this site when I flashed my adr. But I can send them to you once my laptop charges. Also it's not vapor locked as soon a I reset the ecm and and air dog comes on the truck fires right up.

I have two issues with my quadzilla v2 right now the first is as soon as high idle turns on it kills my truck and I have to un plug the batteries to get the ecm to trigger the lift pump. The ecm only will put out 4 volts after the truck dies. But will run fine for days if I don't use high idle. My tuck is bassicly bone stock with a airdog 150. If truck is completely warm high idle will work. also no check engine light. Second issue is in first gear the truck will sound like it's missing and spit White smoke. This only happens in first gear leaving from a stop at any power level over 2. It doesn't happen if im on sock level or if Ieave in 2nd gear.

I don't have the v2 flash done yet so no valet mode. And that makes sense about the can bus fueling. I really haven't looked into how this box works I bought it back when they first came out played with the custom tunes very little and just left it on the default tune. So really I must have been like this for a while. Maybe 2 years ago I felt some surging but went away. Most likely when it broke off completely.

Excuse my ignorance but I'm confused. Wire tap is what adds fuel over stock. With out it it would just fuel like a normal truck? Because right now with out that part. it was fueling hard at WOT. Acting like it was getting plenty of extra fuel

And that's what controls the extra fuel? That's strange it seams like is been working great. Even got 18.5 mpg with 35 in tries driving around 2400 miles this summer
