mine did that . 47re. would not shift out of 1 uless you would build up speed and then back off of the throttle, then it would shift to 2 and right on up normal. but i noticed i had no manual shift , and if in drive, pulled into second, it would free wheel. on decel. if i made if shift as decribed above, when pulling in second you could let off the throttle and it would hold back in second, i drove it for months, and oneday pulled the valve body and found spring broken in the one two shift valve. replace spring and it was ok. i guess the governer pressure had to override the first gear pressure to make it shift. would always shift and stay i second if you were at 25 mph anything below would shift when you let up and then go back to first when you came back on the throttle. let me know what you find.

i have o2 3500 47re was working great no problems was hooking to my trailer, looked and need to move just a little, pulled up, and then it would not shift back to revears. binds up shifter, idicator came back to drive but no farther, i unhooked sheft lever at transmission, shifter went freely back to park so i could turn key off, at first i could shift low second and drive by hand at the trans. that is as far as it would go. after i shifted it a couple of times. and tryed a little harder to see if it would jump past whatever was holding, it,. now lever moves freely, anyone know what i might find when i drop the pan, is their any common shift parts that fail inside, any help app.

has 18 psi at idle and 10 psi at wot

hi having trouble with hard start when warm, long extended crank will usually start, aways starts right up on cold start, some times will crank 30 seconds when warm any help app., also has codes 1693 cant seem to get other codes, key truick does not work on 98.5, i have snapon brick, and otc scan tool. has fuel pressure gauge, lift pump seems to working ok, thanks dale, also would like to add that injection pump was replaced with cardone reman pump, about 6 months ago, but only has about 2000 miles on it,
