  1. Hi,It's always nice to hear somebody who know where Poland is :wink:I hope that my English is understandable I enjoy to read professional posts that I've found here.
  2. I've tried to find any info about Fully Synthetic 2 stroke oil in diesel fuel, but somehow I can't find any.Does anybody tested FS 2stroke oil? is it better or worse than basic mineral 2 stroke oil?Or maybe there is no difference....
  3. Yes, i understand, i've heard about clear engines and their good condition after using fully synthetic 2-cycle oil but it were 2-cycle engines. I wonder what happens in diesel engine as it has different than 2-cycle engine burning process, and of course what about dosage? more/less/same as in mineral oil case?
  4. I'm asking because I've heard that fully synthetic 2-cycle oil doesn't mix with diesel fuel as good as mineral 2-cycle oil. Moreover, fully synthetic 2-cycle oil has higher flashpoint and leaving deposits on spray tip and doesn't burn fully as mineral oil.
  5. I have one more question: is there any main difference between full synthetic, semi-synthetic and mineral 2-cycle oil in diesel fuel tank? like ash remains, flashpoint et.?
  6. Hi! Fiat is probably the most popular mark in this part of Europe. First of all, they produce cars looking much more expensive than they are in fact besides, some of models are really good lookings cars (like f.bravo, alfa romeo). Assembly of particular parts like engine etc. is well developed and advanced but quality of these parts....well....could be better. Most of these parts are in mercedes cars, volvo etc. these days and they should have some better quality, but they don't, so there are many jokes about these cars users like: "why fiat and alfa r. drivers don't say "hi" to themself on the street afternoon?...because they've seen each other in repair service in the morning". But, there are exceptions of course. Besides, fiat was pioneer in TDi engine (turbo direct injection in diesel) before volkswagen group, as i remember in fiat croma or tipo. Perssonally i drive bravo with 1,9 indirection injection turbo diesel and using ab.5,0 to 6,2 litres per 100 km. \it's quite okay in times when diesel fuel in poland costs almost 5,00 pln which is approximately 2 $....not cheap.
  7. Cześć for you too In Poland typical cetane number for regural diesel fuel is 49-51. For "premium" diesel is up to 55. Look at this site http://www.kleenflo.com/en/index.htm and look at product "diesel lubricant" - it should work as 2 cycle oil, but i've tried and see no changes. Maybe a little less noise, but 2 cycle oil reduces noise much better.
  8. Yeah right I corrected kW to kJ, i was searching definition of BTU in web and mistakenly copied link to table of conversion BTU/h instead of BTU. Sorry for that:doh: BTW: it's hard to say about correct conversion.....in poland we say that fuel has calories.....maybe we need to convert kJ to calories just like: 1 Btu = 1.055 kJ = 0.252 kcal = 2.930 x 10-4 kW×h table below: http://sce.org.pl/je.pdf
  9. We use kJ kiloJules 1 Btu = 1055 kJ
  10. I'll bring questions - that's for sure, cause this is the first place with practical informations that i've found. I admire your knowledge and can't wait to broaden mine. I'm very interested in fuels and additives issues and I can tell many facts and stories about polish fuel industry and market. A few members of my family worked in oil refinery and i've checked almost every fuel additive available on our market with peugeot, mazda, ford, fiat vw etc. engines, studying each MSDS and comparing with others. So thanks for acceptance my person.
  11. Now everythig is clear! :thumb1:Once again thanks:)
  12. Thanks for reply but what do you think about fuel density increasing by 2 cycle oil? this thesis is defended by some polish laborant technician on our forum. And could you explain what is BTU? I've read all your essays abou 2 cycle oil but in Poland we have no such a term like BTU. Thanks.
  13. what a small world..... Greetings from your ancestors country then
  14. Hi,My name is Rav and I'm from Poland. Unfortunately, I haven't see any "your kind of truck" - that's specificity of the Polish car market, but I hope that there are no obstacles to be a member of your forum.I drive a little bit smaller cars than Yours, but they're diesels too, so....give me some hugs or shoot me...
