  5. Yeah I felt like it was 1700 but it isn’t i don’t get thrown back in the seat though when I drive it

  7. No I replaced the pump about four years ago with a used one to get me by and I’ve put probably 4000 miles on it since then now I’m driving it 500 miles a week I noticed bad mileage
  8. That is how he found out I had a 29 is looking at the last two numbers and calling Bosch up If I do decide to replace the injector pump what pump should I go with and who should I order from?
  9. 1850 rpms 71 mph More like 1900 He told me my truck sounds more like a 12 valve not this nappy sound of a 24 valve so he thinks that Paul is creating the wrong timing He thinks it doesn’t have the snap of a 24 valve and the pump is creating the wrong timing
  10. He told me that the pump I have is for commercial and ambulance services and is not the right application but I could search around and find a different key that fits the pump if I can find one .you guys think it’s hog wash this theory?
  11. He said it’s a 27 not a 29 and he thinks the key that’s in it is the wrong timing key
  12. They said it is only pulling 18 psi of boost and it sounds like a 12 valve now They checked for leaked and pressure and codes all is good

I ended up taking it in to a local diesel shop they told me that my used injector pump that I’ve had for four years is actually the wrong pump for the truck and that that would affect the fuel mileage 4 to 5 miles per gallon I’m going to replace the pub and I will let you guys know if that fixes the problem

  15. I have had a though it could be a torque converter problem because if I’m a little stuck if I don’t put it in low 4x4 it will rev up and not transfer power to the wheels

Had a code reader on it a week ago there was nothing at all have not tested the iat sensor or ect sensor is that something that wouldn’t show up on a scan So is there no tips as to what it could be because it’s definitely not my 265/75/16 tires that have proper inflation and rotation and balance and no brake drag

Yes i am baffled aside from the hard purge of the fuel rail it shows no signs of issues plenty of power no funny sounds smells or leaks I just started driving it everyday these last 3 months I’ve owned it for 12 years only put about 15 thousand miles in 12 years now I put 800 miles a week on it

Yes I did bleed the lines five injector lines were open to just get a little bit of fuel to spit out I do not have an EGT gauge my truck ran the same before I got the cold air intake I drive like an old grandma My truck runs about 1700 rpm’s at 70 miles an hour I had the fuel pressure checked in at idle it sitting At 15 psi at the filter I feel like there’s definitely no issue with the cold air affecting my miles per gallon I’m driving it from 6 o’clock in the morning till 5 o’clock in the evening and same mileage the entire time it might affect it for the first 30 minutes of my drive Just spit bawling here but could it be an issue with The computer assuming everything is all right and not mixing the fuel and air correctly
  22. I will add when I change my injectors afterwords I could not get it to prime without hitting it with ether repeatedly I drive between 65 and 70

I have a 2000 Dodge Cummins three-quarter ton long box has an air dog fuel system brand new RV 275 Bosch injectors new cold air intake valve lash recently set all new fuel filters cleaned map sensor missing muffler and tailpipe from exhaust running 265 7516 No matter if I’m pulling a load or completely empty I average between 10 and 12 miles per gallon 90% highway miles . I have not had it into the shop
