cummins diesel conversion on chevy truck

Does anybody know anything on a cummins diesel conversion on a 1990 chevy truck C2500 8lug wheel with 86 gross weight? What are the websites for the aftermarket conversion kits?

Have you been to this forum http://www.4btswaps.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?14-Cummins-6BT-5-9-Conversions . It's actually a site dedicated to 4bt swaps but they have a board for 5.9's. They should be able to give you a lot of help.

How was your conversions? Did you got the right kit? Actually, I just did my conversions on my truck.

it is actually very simple there are companys out there that sell complete engine mount/crossmembers that bolt right into the frame rail and all types of bellhousing adapters. No I havent found a engine yet. I like to find one that needs rebuilt. Then I can build it the way I want too. But now funds are tight so this is kinda on hold for now.

How much are you planning to take for the engine? A friend of mine is planning to sell his engine. He might help you with it

Hi davbell22602! I found some conversion kits from StylinTrucks but I find them very spendy too... I think you really need more funds for it.
