Are there any concerns in regards to cleaning the engine with aerosol cleaner and high pressure water? Areas to avoid for fear of causing more problems than leaving it dirty?

Hello, I have a AIRDOG 100 on my truck. Along with a glow shift fuel pressure gauge. I recently washed my engine bay and had a water in fuel light. It went off after a couple miles of driving. And was told to drain my water filter so I did. And bumped the key to prime and pump and it did. But now my gauge doesn't ever move. And I can't ever hear the airdog run. Even when I bump the key. Anything I can do?!? Just runs fine!!

I've got a 2013 Rzr S LE , I'm thinking with fluids etc 1500lbs or less, I normally tow it behind my pickup on a 6x10 trailer. Heading down to Pocahontas for the 4th of July weekend ( which is approx 520 mile drive ) and wonder if it would be better to just put it in the back of my truck. Looking at safety issues as well as fuel economy. Truck is a 97 Dodge 2500 4x4 12 valve diesel with an 8 foot bed. It has helper springs and Timbrens. The truck... http://www.rzrforums.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=77849&d=1372129755

Hi all,a while back I did the overdrive hunt fix & it's been doing fine for the most part. I had the trans gone through by the old-time trans specialist & it's fine but if I let it set for a few days or so I get the hunt back until it's hot. So I'm thinking I need to clean up my grounds.Anyone dune the job & have a list, pix would be even better!:thumb1:Thanks,Dave

What change will I see ? 97 12 valve with 100 plate in middle position. 4" turbo back exhaust. star-wheel adjusted so I get a mild haze under full throttle. Stock HX35. Will I loose power ? Higher egt ? Should I leave it in ?

I ordered my new exhaust yesterday and wanted to tip everyone off to a good deal. I ordered from extreme diesel performance and got a magna flow 4" aluminized pipe turbo back for $190! It was originally $207 but I used a promo code for an additional 10% off. It should be here Thursday according to the ups tracking. I will post pics when I get it installed. No muffler on this one so I will have to wait and see how loud it is. I work on military bases though and I'm not sure if they will like it as much as I do.

does the MAP sensor on my truck read psia or psig? The TST box at altitude where I live and work 5400-6000 feet doesnt start fueling at 2-3 psi like it does at sea level, it's more like 6-7, which leads me to think it reads psia. If so, I'd like to wire a dial potentiometer or even a 3-4 position switch with different resistors corresponding to the voltage I'd like to see going into the map sensor reading of the TST depending on whether I'm at my parents house close to sea level, in denver at 5300ft or up in the mountains at varying higher altitudes. I'm just not sure what resistors to get... or what range I'm looking for. - - - Updated - - - I think I may…

My Raptor frrp developed an internal leak after just barely a year, introducing air into the system and causing hard starts after sitting for a few hours. So I called Air Dog and they got a new one out right away, no questions asked. They don't even request my pump in return which I thought was pretty neat. Now some of you may remember my post a few weeks ago about the Air Dog 100 I had the chance to pick up for dirt cheap. I ended up taking it apart, the motor was fried without a doubt. So rather then throw it out like the guy was going to do I put it on the shelf in the garage, I just could not see throwing something like that out.Now fast forward a few weeks, my frrp c…

I see that Frantz is a advertiser here. Did a search and latest Frantz entry was like 2009. Any comments on their systems? Would it be advisable to install a fuel filter system under the truck on frame rail? Anyone install a oil filter system or transmission filter system on their truck? - - - Updated - - - Got tired of waiting for an answer, so searched for info elsewhere. Here is an interesting read. http://www.cumminsforum.com/articles/articles/18/1/Anatomy-of-a-Frantz-toilet-paper-bypass-oil-filter/Page1.html

So I am planning a week long trip to Yellowstone and the surrounding areas and figure I should compile a list of spare parts and tools to carry. There may be some mild off roading along the way. What would you consider essential spares to carry? Fan beltrad hosestire repair kitfluids (oil, coolant, trans)u joint?Extra fusesLight bulbsAre there any known common parts failures that are specific to 24v trucks that could leave one stranded?

I've looked around on here and other forum's and asked around and got a wide gauge of idea's. So I have drove stick shift's for year's now even Learned how to drive in a 3 on the tree chevy truck. But my question is at what RPM's do you shift your truck i know empty vs. loaded, Rear gear, 4, 5, or 6 speed is all a factor but overall what is your choice RPM's. Just for fun here's three different example'sMy Boss drive's our work truck a 94 5 speed Cummin's 3.55 gear's1-2: 2500 rpm's or 5mph2-3: 2600 rpm's or 15mph 3-4: 2200 rpm's or 25mph 4-5: 3100 rpm's or 45mph Refuse's to down shift when slowing down will push the brake to the floor and nearly kill the Motor before enga…

I did a quick search on the subject. Nobody seems to think the mod is worthy. Is that still the case. Payoff in fuel economy not realistic? Read so threads on other forums of guys using Ford Taurus fans on the cheap with reasonable success.

Hey guys, I didnt want to clog up my intro thread with my questions. Just want to get some clarification as this is my first Cummins. 1. My radiator is about half full of what looks like green coolant. Obviously I need to add more but can I just add green coolant from the parts store? Supposedly some the the Auto Zone coolants have the Cummins logo on the bottle, I will have to check. 2. I need to change my fuel filter, looks like it is on the drivers side of the engine correct? Does that cap unscrew and the filter just pull out? 3. Where can I find a fuse diagram as well as a wiring diagram. My fan for the climate control does not work, no matter what speed I turn to not…
