My dealer says there is no fix for ABS CODE 84

Any thoughts

Kelsey-Hayes All Wheel EBC 325 Antilock Brake System & Kelsey-Hayes Rear Wheel EBC 2 Antilock Brake System.

CODE 84 - Mismatched VIN

 

The only way you can get this code is if either the PCM has been offline for some time or someone replace original ABS module with salvage yard ABS module from wrong vehicle class (e.g. Durango or Dakota in Ram truck).

The ABS module was replaced with a Salvage yard part and the original one is gone. Is there any way to get rid of the code ?

Not that I know of, new $$$ or another one from salvage yard but for (2500 - 3500) Ram truck.
