Welcome to my frankentruck problems, and id like to say this is a great site, ive used a couple wiring diagrams during this build so far from here!

So I bought this truck a few years ago, the headlights have always sucked, but I can get by that for now until this project is done and a bit more money is in my pockets for an upgrade in the sight division.

The big thing that annoys me about these headlights, is the damn high beam indicator stays on at ALL TIMES!

Whether in low or high, flash-to-pass, it stays on, only time its off is when the headlights are in DRL

Now heres the kicker, its a sport truck originally, with the quad headlights, but somewhere along the line someone had converted it back to dual headlights without doing it properly. And, whoever did that had put some kind of auxiliary lights for a strobe headlight kind of thing. that all has since been removed by me, which it wasnt hooked up to the headlight wiring, just its own wiring.

So, how in the H E double L do i get this damn indicator light to go away during low beam operation!

All help is appreciated!

Not sure if my signature shows up or not, but its a 2001 ram 2500 quad cab long box automatic, originally

In any case the hi beam light is hooked up to +12V power. The other side relies on the grounding of the dimmer switch. I've got a feeling its in the modified wiring that is causing the problem.
