We had a guy come take of our 20 acres of wheat and run it into hopper wagons for us. Long story short, my uncle hooked his Duramax to the wagons to pull them out of the field. Not enough traction so the nice guy that I am hooked to his truck with a couple big tow straps I have and pulled him and both wagons out to the road. Total weight of the pull was roughly 35-40k. Not bad for an inline six!
He was a bit in shock but it was all about traction, I had it and he didn't.
