  1. So, quick update. Its been a few days and 200 miles on the quadzilla. In discussing with @Mopar1973Man i realized I had the tune set on power level 7. I backed it down to PL02 and have noticed a difference. So far I have logged 200 miles on 1/4 tank of fuel. I will keep reporting back ad i gather more data.
  2. I did edit the name, it would "tag" you in edit mode.
  3. So I finally pulled the trigger on an adrenaline for my 2001 3500. Im after mainly better fuel economy at this point, more so than the power that is possible. Myself and @Mopar1973Man have discussed this at length and with his economy tune now installed in the quadzilla I will be doing my best to learn how to keep track of and log some milage numbers from my daily driven diesel. This little endeavor started with Mike and I discussing his milage in the up and down terrain of Idaho. Here in Northwest Ohio the terrain is very flat so the speculations of higher numbers in this area arose. Now that I have the quadzilla installed I will be trying to track my milage closer to compare numbers with Mike's previous posts. More to come. I'll will try to post something on this weekly since that is roughly my fill up interval as well.
  4. Love to see you guys make it this far east sometime. 💯
  5. That is a long list. I know how you feel working out in the elements, it sucks. Before we moved i had a garage but nothing would fit inside, all work was done in the gravel driveway in front of the garage.
  6. Just want to touch base with everyone. I've been very scarce lately. I've been dealing with a lot. Trying to get something moving with dad's legal case ( from his car accident that ultimately took him from us) and more recently my mother was battling stage 5 kidney failure along with multiple infections at the same time. She lost her battle and passed away at 9am October 8th. Since then I've been very busy arranging the funeral, after service luncheon and handling other business since mom's will appointed me executor. I have a ways to go before I can fully wrap things up. Mom's house will have to be cleaned, repainted inside, yard work done and then put on the market to be sold. I have to be in court for dad's case Friday at 3pm, hoping some good news will come from that. It's been a stressful ride the past month and have some more ahead but I will keep pushing forward and eventually find the end of this bumpy road.
  7. Looking forward to seeing it also!
  8. I bought my parts from a combination of allstate gear and torque king I believe. I had to replace the input shaft, main shaft and counter shaft. Mine was pretty trashed. I also replaced the tail housing, OEM was an aluminum peice, I replaced it with a cast iron piece from torque king.

  10. That's cool, I like this idea!
  11. Congrats on finally getting her nailed down.
  12. Wish I had the skill to do body work like that. Looks great
  13. Yep, all proprietary info. TOP SECRET!
  14. That would be great info to have on hand. Hopefully you can get a reliable and accurate source for those chime codes.
  15. Way to go Ford.
  16. That should eliminate it from drawing in any air then.
  17. Is it possible that you are pumping aerated fuel from the lift pump to the injection pump and that is causing the loss of prime? Somehow the lift pump could be sucking in air as it also draws fuel and sends it on its way full of bubbles which would facilitate a rapid loss of prime.
  18. Nice to finally "meet" you Suzanna! I've heard alot about you, Mike and have had many phone conversations where you have come up in topic. Glad to see you have both found some happiness during your medical issues. And CONGRATULATIONS on the upcoming wedding! I hope to someday make my way west to meet Mike and now you in person.
  19. We are currently experiencing freezing rain. They're calling for up to 1/4 inch of ice.
  20. Glad to hear you cancer free @Mopar1973Man! Chiropractor for the spinal compression?
  21. Yes, I saw that. It may be worth looking into. Would low lift pressure cause the fluctuation that he is seeing? I don't know but, any fuel starvation is bad. Also, could there be air in the fuel. Bubbles would certainly cause dips in pressures. Obviously that would be isolated to the suction side of the lift pump. Anything on the pressure side would be in the form of a leak.
