I kinda thought the same thing.

On the quad cabs the striker is attached to the rear door. If I move that inward that would move the entire door inward. Looks like its fine until you move up to the frame around the window.

I know you can adjust door hinges and such but I don't believe this is the case here. I have pics from down the side of the body bottom, middle and top of the door to show what I mean. Not sure how to go about adjusting this. Roll window down, put a wood block in the door and push on the top portion only?

I am a newbie to Cummins diesel trucks so bare with me and my questions. I changed my fuel filter today, once the old filter was out I noticed debris in the bottom on the filter housing so I cleaned that out best I could. I had to drain the housing so it took a few key cycles to prime again but she did restart. While doing this I noticed another inline filter before the LP that I'm sure is not factory. See pics below, before and after cleaning out the debris, last one you should be able to see the inline filter down near the frame. Also, there is what seems like a larger line from the LP to the filter housing. Is this just an adapter or is it what is considered a "big line kit"? I'll post a pic to hopefully show this blue line I'm talking about. Thanks in advance for any replies.

I feel I got lucky on this one. 99% stock. So far the only after market piece I have found is a FASS DRLP ( I believe that's direct replacement lift pump, still learning the terminology). She runs nice and smooth so far. Has a couple of issues to address, a little rust repair needed as well. I have a few things planned for it once the weather gets nice again, nothing crazy here though. I just need a good reliable truck that will pull our 30' camper wherever we want to go, it will also be a daily driver unless it's warm enough to get the motorcycle out. Lol I won't plug up this thread with questions, I'll toss them in the second gen section later, and thanks for the compliments! I'll post a few more pics below.

I've been lurking for a few days trying to learn what I could about my recent purchase, a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 quad cab with 8ft bed. So far I love the truck, been needing to upgrade for a while and finally pulled the trigger on this one with only 140k miles and a 5 speed manual. Nothing fancy about the truck, manual windows and locks, basically a work truck but I am fine with that. I'll be posting some of my questions later in the 2nd gen forums but for now just wanted to introduce myself and my truck a bit.
