Sled pulling

Posted

Hello everyone I’m in search of a sled pulling tune.  I have a 2000 vp44 truck has 200 over injectors .93 lines and tubes, hot rod vp44, aurora 4000 turbo, with a colt cam big stick backed by an nv4500.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Using the iQuad 4K V2.

Runs normal when we ran it down the road it was fine we set the limiter to 4000 and it would run all the way up and have no issue until I went over 4000 and the check engine light will come on and it will start to run bad until I clear the CEL.

@Mopar1973Man, when a MAP sensor fails it would only see a high or a low reading, correct? His Quad was reading 32 psi at an idle and 4200rpm. His coolant temp was reading like a wire/connector was loose as well, 190, 0, 190, -40, 190.. Could a failing temp sensor do that?

Failing sensor would of tossed a error code for sure if it out of range.

ECT if the sensor is unplugged then the volts go high and gauge pegs out 240F. If its shorted to ground it will drop to -40*F. The only way to have number in the middle random if of the sensor failed IN SPEC. In other words showing random data all over the map but never going out of range. This could also be a bad ECM and/or Quadzilla.
