Need to put a new thermostat in  my  truck , 1998 5.9 V8 Magnum,

it appears someone has been in it before and appears to have probably lost one of the housing bolts and used a longer bolt as one is spaced up about 1/2" or so.. So if possible before i remove them i would like to know what size the factory thermostat housing bolts are so i can have them when i replace it. I've found a few results online for thermostat housing bolts but nothing that is a verified fit.

Thanks.

Hmmm... I'm not sure for a V8 5.9L... I could offer the parts book for the truck and see if you can locate a part number to search from.

so if my 'ciphering is correct it is a 5/16-18 that is 15/16" long.. so just under an inch long. And the MOPAR number of 06034549 which so far is showing up NLA wherever i've looked online. But this is a huge help, thank you.
