I'm no longer going to support anything Microsoft.
Tidbit, so I had a used Xbox One console I bought back in 2020. Then, after getting married, I found out she had her own Xbox from a previous marriage. I started working on getting these two older Xbox One consoles to play together. I've been trying for over 4 months with these two older units, and one of them has a bad hard drive and tends to lose information, forcing me to rebuild the console several times. Finally, the suggestion was to just replace the two older Xbox consoles with 2 new Xbox Series S units. The first setup was beautiful, no issues. The second unit required me to rebuild the operating system, which I had to do twice. Then, when it started working, I spent the entire evening downloading to find out. Nope, you can't play with your wife because the Xbox Home switch can't be changed; you've done this 5 times already. No way to add another switch. So now, after deleting all data and boxing them back up, and owning a new Xbox Series S for a total of 24 hours, they can go right back to Microsoft. Not worth the crap units and crap service. Sorry, I figured by now Microsoft would have improved. Nope. It's all about making that money, and hence the hard limit on the Home Xbox switch. They don't want one person sharing the account too much. Just the wife and I. I'm done with Xbox and Microsoft products. In my eyes, they are complete junk and a money scam. Even after calling Microsoft and letting them know. Nope, they only gave me a 14-day pass for my wife, then I have to subscribe double for the entire year, so the subscription just doubles to just play together, nope.
