If it has a turbo it is a 4BT-3.9liter, if no turbo it is a 4B-3.9liter. Add two clinders and you have the same engine basicly that's in your truck. Good solid work horses.

Ya its the turbo. It has 1800 hours and doesnt make a squeek. Except the fan belt chirp when you shut it down like all tight cummins motors. Im stoked. Also like i said the dodge did great!!

I got aroused reading this thread. Those 4BT's were awesome and bullet-proof!! I'd love to find one to put into a 1500 for kicks!! I'll bet I could average 25+mpg with that litttle bad boy in a 1500 truck!!!

Ya that would be awesome. When the machine roaches out ill give you the motor. But that wont be for another twenty thousand hours. The motor is sweet though. Has a little holset turbo and a mini bosch vp and mini fuel lines like our trucks. Tiny little lift pump. One filter. Would like to put a fuel pressure guage on it for funzies and treat this cummins motor like a cummins motor. Fass one fifty if needed. Bhaf. If its not to dusty under the hood. Hell maybe an edge comp and tap i wire! Joking but really its an animal

Take some pictures of that bad boy so I can "drool" a little bit more!!!!!:drool: How would one of those engine fit into a Dodge Dakota????:whistle:
