ok so this is the 3rd time this has happened... got home today and noticed something steamy and smelly coming from the under the truck... walk around and find my passenger side rear hub practically on fire again :cry:same wheel, 3rd occurence now...last time i had the caliper replaced with a brand new one, that was 4 months and about 7000 miles ago. any idea what the hell could be causing this... i don't know much about brakes, and do not have the tools or knowledge to do anything other than change brake pads by myself...

Usually caused by something binding up like slide pins or the pistons in the caliper. I would suggest that you pull the caliper and check the piston fit by removing the boot and the seals then dropping the piston in the empty holes. It should fall to the bottom without being pushed in. I typically tune the pistons with fine sandpaper till the do fit properly. During all this work make sure the caliper is clean and the brake fluid is purged from the system and start over fresh.
