  1. Thanks a lot I'm going to do this for sure
  2. I like your setup cause its cheap maybe post a pic of solenoid if u can, thanks
  3. I'm glad that it sounds like my clutch isn't bad, I rev it up a bit the only time it really bothered me was when I needed to back up slowly, I plan on using 4low when 5th wheel hooked up and backing up slow, thanks for the responses
  4. Yes if I give it some throttle it doesn't do it, I didn't think that was good for the clutch tho, I am glad to hear its not just mine and I hope I don't have to change clutch cause I just fixed 5th gear 3 months ago( I guess the bolts won't be seized)
  5. Once my truck gets warm the clutch gets real jumpy, when trying to back up slowly or starting in 2nd. Could this be a slave cyl problem or is my clutch bad? There is a small amount of oil sweating from between trans and bell housing but nothing at flywheel
  6. Yes it's my first I got it because it was cheaper and I liked the looks better and so far I'm not disappointed. There is a good thread going about scan gauge I didn't see before posting this one go on it to get some good info
  7. Yes u are rite, out of the box it was saying 5-6 mpg until I calibrated it once so I will check it again
  8. Just got my ultragauge, ordered on a tues night and got it Friday I couldn't believe it came that fast. It's very nice and easy to use with way more gauges then I will ever use, it's nice to watch my avg mpg in the 20's . So far so good!
  9. How hard is it too add cab lights? I heard the spots are marked on the inside of the roof? Is the wiring harness there ready to be plugged in? Any help is appreciated
  10. I changed filter to a wix and it's still the same so I guess it's just the oil no biggie, thanks for the help
  11. I've never taken keys out, it's a pain in the butt cause u get in and go to turnthe key and crap there not there, I know we shud but it's a pain
  12. I sure i put a Hastings on it, i just bought the truck and the filter came with it I think I will buy a new filter and see if that helps cause I don't like those 5 or more seconds before the gauge moves.
  13. That rimbey area is pretty ruff, lol,ur pretty lucky it didn't end up in the bush on a lease road totaled,If u had insurance I've heard they pay very well for our trucks but it's best not to have to find out
  14. That's a good point about pushing the clutch in too soon, I never cold start it either it's always plugged in when I need it, this oils only got less than 500 miles and it looks like it just came out of the bottle, my 04 turned black as coal after 5 mins of idleing
  15. I put ow40 synthetic oil in for winter and now when I first start it up the oil pressure gauge doesn't move for at least 5 seconds, truck fires rite up instantly but I don't like the oil pressure issue. I haven't owed this truck long but it always had instant oil pressure
