this is taking place on soft surface and the turns are shallow. I will check the u-joints thanks for the info.

i have recently noticed that when only the 4 wheel drive is engaged that the front end makes a popping sound and feels like it is hopping when i turn to the right or left. Was wondering what could cause this problem.

the fuel pressure gauge started jumping around. as long as i am driving it stays about 13 to 15 psi at idle it jumps form 15 to 30 psi. I changed the fuel filter and water separater today and the fuel pressure gauge is still jumoing around. when drive down the road at 45 mph the fuel pressure reads 13 psi the EGT is at 750 and the boost gauge reads 5 psi. truck still seams to lack in power.

It is time for the fuel filter to be changed going to do that this weekend. the fuel pressure is at 15psi at idle and stays constant while driving down the highway.

a couple of months ago i made a trip from south carolina to long island new york to pick up a 32ft camper. after returning from my trip i notice that my truck seems to have lost power and the turbo does not seem to spool up like it did before the trip. was wondering how much boost should my turbo be putting out and what i need to check to make sure that my truck is performing properly.

I replaced the battery cable ends and it solved my problem

I had no codes pop up on my truck.

I also forgot to say that after diconnecting the battery cables i recalbrate the APPS sensor. I noticed in the video that there was a device to read the codes is that the only way to read the codes?

I am new to the Diesel world i have a 99 2500 4x4. The problem that i am having is when i start it up and barely press on the throtle or press the throttle to the floor it will only go to 1500 RPM. I can take off the negative battery cables for about 30 min and reset everthing and it may a run couple of months and then it will happen again. Can any one give me some insight on what to do to fix this problem?
