  1. would replacing the lift pump help or is the damage done ,what would be a better pump for more pressure ?
  2. I moved from the Seattle area to Chelan Washington ,I have had the truck for a little over 1 year .it is a dodge 2002 5.9 4x4 automatic . I added the fuel pressure gauge and a fass ddrp with a inline pre filter ,the truck has 74.000 miles and has 15psi at the injection pump .since the weather is a lot warmer the dead pedal seems to show up and when I went back to north bend I didn't act up.... till I went back to Chelan .I did replace the sensor (apps) and when the air is cool no problem .I get the fuel from the same place in so I don't think that's anything to do with it . thanks kelly
  3. installed the pump and only get 10 psi after the filter ,(yes the filter is new) checked all of my connections and they are solid .genos (fass)said to strech the spring or they would send a replacement spring . i asked for a new spring, not into messing with a spring anyone else have this problem ? - - - Updated - - - yes i did check the pressure with 2 different guages......
  4. i will be installing my first lift pump friday ,it on a used 2002 2500 4x4 dodge(duh) 59k miles .anyone have any advice on items not covered in the instructions ? my stock pump has 11 psi at idle and since i have seen all the horror stories in the forums i decided to fork out some cash and do it. is the line from the pump to the fuel filter larger than stock , if so should the line from the filter to the vp44 be increased also ? thanks for any advice
